The Green Cone, a solar-heated garden unit takes all cooked and uncooked food waste including fish, meat, poultry, bones, bread, pasta, soup, curry, fruit including peelings, vegetables including peelings, dairy produce, cooked food scraps, crushed egg shells & tea bags. It'll leave you bin nearly empty!

The Green Cone will not handle garden waste. This will reduce the above waste to water, carbon dioxide and small residue.

Packaging

RESPONSIBLY PACKAGED! Packaged with the environment in mind, your order will be wrapped in items which are easy for you to recycle - cardboard, shredded paper, biodegradable tissue paper etc. We re-use packaging & boxes from our suppliers where possible. It may on occasion be that some products, such as lanterns, include polystyrene to ensure they get delivered to you in once piece. Please ensure you reuse or recycle the packaging where possible.

The Green Cone is great on the environment. It ensures waste which can't usually go into composters (such as bones & meat), can! This can save 20% of household waste, meaning less collections, fewer trucks on the road, and less rubbish ending up in landfill! Hopeful to see great improvement in soil nutrients over the coming months after inatallation

Our Green cone composter arrived very swiftly after ordering so no complaints there especially considering the current issues with lock down etc...After a lot of digging in chalky ground we managed to install our Green cone composter, the jury is out until we have had a few months experience in how this new product deals with our family of seven's regular food waste and veggie peelings (we cook from scratch an organic and healthy menu for our family. I am hopeful that it will be a winner having read previous reviews and a great way to for us to do our bit for the environment and the ongoing health of our family by feeding our own plants through the recycled nutrients in our soil. A great way to educate our young ones in the cycle of nutrients and growing organically. Thank you for the potential for improving our health.
