These mushrooms are rare in the wild, and have a soft texture that tastes of seafood. Fruits in twelve to eighteen months, with crops in Spring, Summer & early Autumn.

The ideal start kit if you can get your own freshly cut logs. These kits give you enough spawn plugs to inoculate your own 2ft to 3ft long, by 4in to 6in diameter, freshly cut log. It'll crop between two to three times a year, possibly more. The kits come packed in a fair trade jute bag, and contains a packet of 30 spawn plugs, an easy to follow set of instructions and a correct size of drill. Buy multiple plugs, for bigger logs!
